for CAAs

The Community Action Partnership, under a grant from the Office of Community Services - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is working to develop recommendations from the community action network for creative approaches to training and technical assistance to assist the network in serving low-income families and communities in these times of growing need.
The Partnership started this process by conducting two facilitated group sessions. Participants were drawn from the full constellation of players in the network. Most importantly participants represented a wide range of local community action agencies, diverse in geographic location, size, structure and focus. Participants were also drawn from leaders of state community action agency associations, state offices, and national community action organizations. Click here for a copy of the findings from the first two facilitated group discussions.
A webinar was conducted on April 8th in order to summarize the results from the facilitated group discussions - see T&TA Webinar presentation (PowerPoint).
