Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment Tool Webinar
August 6, 2009 at 10:00 am eastern time

The New York State Community Action Association is pleased to offer a free interactive webinar session on CIM, a web-based tool that may completely change the way you do Community Needs Assessments.  Webinar attendees will learn how the Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment Tool will assist regional staff in the development of Community Needs Assessments.  The tool collects information from a variety of state and federal sources, and compiles it into a single downloadable and editable report.

The tool is currently being used by Community Action in Missouri statewide - MACA Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment (CCNA) Support Tool.

The tool can provide information for any agency service area or county, or any combination of service areas and/or counties.  NYSCAA held a session on CIM at its June conference and participants raved about the ease of use and affordability if it were to be a network supported effort.

Session speakers:

Christopher L Fulcher, Ph.D., Co-Director of CARES, a Division of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Missouri

Ed Fancher, Executive Director of Community Action Orleans & Genesee and his colleague Nate Varland were at the June workshop and will be on the webinar to offer real-world CAA implementation options.
